Bryan Nixon, MA, LPC
Bryan is the founder of Mindful Counseling GR and is a Licensed Professional Counselor serving the Grand Rapids area. He deeply believes that as human beings we are formed in relationship, harmed in relationship, and healed in relationship. The way we show up in the world, our strengths, our defenses, our struggles are all informed by our relational experiences. Therefore, he pays close attention to the way the therapeutic relationship takes shape with each of his clients because whatever is not working in your relational life out there will inevitably be repeated within the therapeutic relationship at some point. The therapeutic relationship exists as a healing context where your style of relating to your world can be authentically explored. In this way old relational wounds can become conscious, and healing can occur that offers you deeper freedom.
