Stress Resilience and Burnout Prevention Programs
for Healthcare Teams

How are your healthcare providers holding up?

Those who dedicate themselves to caring for others shouldn’t have to suffer from burnout and anxiety.
Support your team with proven mindfulness practices.

How can healthcare providers cope in the age of “continuous partial attention” and the demands of strained systems and global pandemics? Answers may lie in the emerging field of neuroscience. Research shows that mindfulness training is one of the best ways to alter the brain for improved attention, clarity, and compassion towards self and others.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

What would happen if your providers felt more supported, resilient, and engaged in their work rather than stretched too thin and on the edge of burnout?

Our healthcare system is facing huge challenges. The stress of COVID-19, the rapidly changing landscape of healthcare, high employee turnover, and frustrations with electronic medical records are among the factors placing monumental burdens on healthcare providers.
Add in that, the urgency of caring for others in pain, the pressure to be perfect, persistent distractions, and expectations for multi-tasking, and it’s a recipe for anxiety and an increase in error rates.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is intentionally paying attention to our moment-to-moment experience with an attitude of curiosity and acceptance. This capacity to be aware of our thoughts, emotions, and body sensations with kind awareness allows us to be more responsive to ourselves and others as we move through our days.

What Healthcare Professionals have to say about the program.

“I am so thankful for the mindfulness course I took as the pandemic was beginning, because not only was I able to utilize the practices to help me when I became scared and overwhelmed, but I was able to teach it to the patients that I was working with! The mindfulness practices I learned in the class were so helpful, and I know that without them, I would not have been half as present for myself, my family, and my patients!”
- Patti Mulder, LMSW

“Enhancing resiliency is key to combating physician burnout. I’m grateful to Carol for teaching me these mindfulness practices, and I am also grateful to have carved out time to practice them.”
-
Tyler Murphy, MD, MS

“Since taking this wonderful Mindfulness course through Holland Hospital, I’ve used my mindfulness training regularly before stressful situations. I find a quiet place, meditate for at least one minute, and do the breathing exercises. I try doing some of the Yoga exercises in the early morning.mI’m grateful to have received a non-medication way of coping with stress. Everyone should take this course to cope with stress—the sooner, the better.”
