Whether you are just curious about Mindfulness or you and your family practice mindfulness daily, come to our Mindfulness Family Day event.
Mindfulness is paying attention on purpose to the present moment with kindness and curiosity. It is a way to uncover a path to resilience and learn how to cope effectively with life’s challenges. In today’s world, stressors affect you and your family’s well-being and happiness. A crucial skill in managing stress effectively is to be able to deal with change whenever it occurs. Mindfulness is a skill anyone can learn that helps with attention, emotional regulation, self-compassion and empathy.
During our 1.5-hour event participants will (learn) practice:
- Mindful Listening
- Mindful Breathing
- Gratitude Family Activity
- Mindful Movement with Tai Chi/Qigong
No experience necessary, we hope you will join us for an inquiry into the present moment with kindness and curiosity.
